Objectives

Community Engagement & Involvement (CEI)

To develop the capacity and skills of the local communities through community participation

Women Empowerment

To promote activities to foster increased participation of women of all ages and colours in co-designing health and socila care programmes within their neighbourhoods, and also showcase their full potential in strengthening communities

Improve Community Outcomes

To increase community capacity to identify needs, generate evidence, and influence services and policies—leading to improved health, wellbeing, education, and social outcomes for the population we serve.

Promote Skills Exchange and Collaborations

To establish opportunities for collaborative research, peer learning, mentorship, and knowledge exchange between researchers, practitioners, community members, and academic partners across the UK and internationally.

Build Research Capacity and Skills

To design and deliver training, workshops, seminars, and online learning that equip early-career researchers, community researchers, and frontline health and social care staff with essential research skills, including data collection, analysis, community engagement, and ethical practice.
